Bruce Cox is a powerful performer, skilled in teaching, composing and producing. He has been the rhythmic force behind Fred Wesley and the New JB's for the past 20 years. Additionally, he has been a regular member of the Sonny Rollins Band and the J Johnson Quintet touring the US and Europe. Cox studied at the Philadelphia College of Performing Arts as well as the esteemed Berklee College of Music. He has been performing since1980 when he first toured with the prolific Intergalatic Sun Ra Arkestra.
